| Art, painting is just a part of me. Ive always needed to paint to express the full depth of emotions, ideas, concepts. Its a tactile, visual communication where words could not suffice. Poupel calls her work in depth art. Clara Poupel was born and raised in France. She has travelled around the world spending time in Greece, Africa, and Israel and currently resides in Miami, Florida in the United States. Each country has added the varying textures of lives and landscapes, experiences and their stories to her palette. Poupel works in oils, acrylics, mixed media. Her work is in private collections in the United States and Europe and has been represented in North Carolina at the Ann Jacob Gallery; in Florida at the Lowe Galley, and at Americas Museum in Miami as one of the 7 International Women artists exhibition. |
